Happy Friday, peeps! Today I am taking it easy as yesterday I attended my first Orange Theory class and almost died (not really—but my body is SO sore!) I am torn about working out today and hopefully loosening up my muscles so they won’t be as sore tomorrow but I’m not sure if I can muster the energy to get to the gym today. Muscles I didn’t even know I had were on fire in that work out yesterday! What are your weekend plans? Whether they are just relaxing and catching up on sleep or going out with friends and having a great time, I hope your weekend is simply the best!

Orientation begins on Monday for me and I am SO nervous. I know that once I get there, everything will be fine but the pre-class anxiety has me feeling alllll the jitters. After a particularly rough week of, for lack of a better term, freaking the crap out, I was reminded of a podcast I listened to (and have mentioned here on DRR before) with Gwyneth Paltrow and Elizabeth Gilbert. Gilbert talks about inviting fear to sit with you and accompany you instead of fighting fear and as a consequence, allowing it to control you. If you are struggling with something similar, or just want to listen to some wise words, I’d highly recommend this episode!

We are moving soon and are hoping for something a little bigger with at least one more room so that I can have a place to study. With this study room in mind, I have been looking for inspiration and found a great article on desks for small spaces.

My newest instagram obsession: @drakeoncake. I’m not even a fan of Drake but this Instagram is goals. (If anyone needs a cake with John Mayer lyrics on it, I’m your girl!)

August has barely started but I’m already looking for fall inspiration. This Nars lipstick is on my wishlist and I can already picture wearing it while drinking a pumpkin spice latte and wearing the coziest sweater imaginable (I am aware of my basic-ness, no worries.)

Yesterday was #InternationalCatDay. Are you following the hashtag?! I could look at cats all dayyyyy.

@laurenmarigold started a hashtag #byocupclub (bring-your-own-cup-club) where instagrammers post when they bring their own cup to a coffee shop. I have often heard people say ‘Bringing my own cup will barely make a dent in any environmental issue.’ To that I say, true. But imagine if you bringing your own cup influences another person to do the same—the domino effect could be massive. This hashtag is awesome because you can literally watch how many plastic cups are not being used and you can use your own platform to continue promoting it!

This last weekend was a somber one for our country. One of my favorite bloggers, Jess Keys, wrote a fantastic article entitled Thoughts and Prayers Don't Save Lives: Action Does. Whatever side of the issue you are on, this is a fantastic read. If you want to dive even deeper into the truth behind media coverage, listen to Ben Shapiro’s American Horror Story episode as well.

Over the last year, I have become a sunscreen addict (doesn’t mean I don’t love a good tan though!) This article, however, made me do a double take on the ingredients in my sunscreen!

Ever wonder how to read the label on your skincare products? This article might help!

And that’s all for now! I hope you have enjoyed this roundup of products, articles and podcasts as much I enjoyed compiling them!
