What I'm Loving 9.13.19
Happy Friday the 13th! It’s been a minute since I have posted since I have been trying to get into the swing of law school. Transitioning into graduate school after two years away from school has been an adjustment but I am loving it. If I could be a life-long student, I think I would!
Anyway, since I have taken so much time since my last post, I have found quite a few new things I wanted to share with you all!
*Obviously with school being in full swing, I have been focused on time management and making the most of every hour that I spend in the library and at home. This app has been huge in making sure I’m not getting distracted by my phone!
*Just like every other basic girl out there, I am allll about the pumpkin. My favorite drink when fall rolls around is an Americano with one pump of pumpkin sauce. This year, Starbs has a new drink: pumpkin cold brew. I’m not usually a big fan of cold brew but this drink might be my new favorite splurge drink when I’m not looking for a simple black cup of coffee. Served in this beautiful Halloween vibes reusable cup, you can’t go wrong!
*As tempting as eating out every Chickfila every day is, I finally reigned it in and bought this cute little lunch box to take my meal prep in. It doesn’t even look like a lunch box!
*I don’t have a lot of time for tv these days, but when I do, I’m watching the newest episode of Four Weddings and a Funeral on Hulu! I know it’s based off of an older movie but I’m waiting until the season ends to watch the movie version. The actors are hilarious and they live dreamy lives in London—I’ve been living vicariously through this show until I can go back to Europe some day!
*Colder weather is coming quickly and the season for slathering my body in every type of moisturize known to mankind is upon us. This scent from Bath and Body Works in their moisturizing body is wash is SO good.
*Growing up, when my mom lit candles around the house, I always knew it meant one of two things: she had deep cleaned the house or the weather was starting to get cooler. Since being on my own, I’ve found myself doing the same and recently got myself a bunch of new candles to welcome in the cozy weather.
*All of my 70’s dreams are coming true with the reentry of corduroy this fall. Bury me in this Madewell jacket. (plz sponsor me, @Madewell)
*With the seasons changing, I’ve got the travel bug and am itching to plan a trip back to Europe. Here’s a list of the cheapest places to fly to in Europe from your state. Mine is Helsinki, Finland—what’s yours?
*Sephora isn’t known for being cheap but their new line of store-brand green skin care is both affordable and great quality! I’ve been using their HYA serum and recently incorporated their clay mask into my line of regularly used products.
I hope you enjoyed this round-up! Since I’m starting to get the hang of school again, I am planning on posting here more regularly. Look out for an upcoming post on my favorite podcasts!
Talk to you soon!
